Sun, Dew and Love anew

Dew gleamed on the blades of grass
Its deed done when the grass shone hard
Waiting for the Sun to raise its head
And suck the wetness left on the bed.

Sun rose burning with fever
His thirst grew as he rose higher.
It was then he noticed the dew;
Glistening to get herself viewed.
He scorched; his fever high
As she traced her way through high and dry.

With her every curve and her climb
He became parched
And fought for his claim.
She done with task and looked at him.
Too tired to even move an inch.

He with one final move grasped her
And took her in.
Staying sated one inside the other.
Sun and Water stayed together?

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard. Google

4 Candles:

Well written one.

I read and read, until I became parched.......

softly, yet silently that move and intertwining..... Lovely dear, well written piece

The pic is apt too......

At one, I learnt crawling was fun. At forty one, I still feel crawling is fun #blamemykneesnotme
