A walk with you...

Wished you walked next to me,
When the birds chirped and sang merry,
We could have hummed a song together,
Held hands and smiled at each other.

A wandering squirrel might stop by,
A slow smile lighting your eyes,
I would love to get drunk at your sight,
My steps slow, hanging at your side.

The few hours we would spend together,
Would make me happy, more than ever,
I wish not to be in this world alone,
Your shoulders hiding the hardships around.

A safe harbour I would detest,
If you are out at the stormy sea for a test,
Allow me to be with you,
Am ready to face the stormy sea too.

At one, I learnt crawling was fun. At forty one, I still feel crawling is fun #blamemykneesnotme
