Green eyed monster

The green eyed monster
getting me down,
whenever I see you with a girl around.
It lurks in the midst
of love and passion,
a worm intact spitting poison.

I try to shed,
I try to shrug,
The feel of lead
weighing on my breast.

Why do you look the other side?
When I feel so mushy inside
Wish to god to take me far,
where love doesn't hurt so hard.

A hurried smile on its way,
I bent to pick it without a fray,
"It's not fair", I called out to you,
"Life ain't fair", your reply was cool.

Hugging my knees,
I thought of the day,
When a minute of your time,
lavished my way.

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard. Google

At one, I learnt crawling was fun. At forty one, I still feel crawling is fun #blamemykneesnotme
