Measured steps; failed climb!

Stroll - Part II

I took the measured steps,
But you refused to follow mine...
I matched my right to right,
I matched my left to left,
Hence, missed the step.
The ground gaping at me,
The steps lunging at me,
I tumbled down like a projectile
released from a catapult..
Didn't break the ground,
Didn't break the steps.
But hurt my back and neck!
Every inch screams with pain.
Not able to move an inch
without yelling out of pain...
And whom should I blame?
All because of you!
I only know to match your steps...
And you decided to quit and move...
And whom should I blame?
All because of you!
You failed to go with me.
Every shot I take,
Every bitter pill mom forces me to take,
Every time, I had to get up to go to the loo,
Every time, I turn my neck,
And an electric shock that runs through my spine,
And whom should I blame?
All because of you!
You failed to go with me.
If you had, I would have fallen on you...

Stroll 1 was wanting more and more of it..

Stoll 2 is betrayal.. all your poems talk of a rhythm, matching, drumming to sequence..enjoyed it..

At one, I learnt crawling was fun. At forty one, I still feel crawling is fun #blamemykneesnotme
