Not dumb... but tired

In a sea full of sharks
was trapped a silly little shad
looked around trying to move
as the shark came chasing through
he tried finding his legs to run
forgot he is a water gun
felt for his wings
to fly with a spring
found that he aint the arctic tern
furious he was not a water fern
to float without straining a muscle
bobbing sideways with a mussel
a simple fish who forgot to swim
not dumb, but too tired to think...

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard. Google

After reading your comment here, I got it. I must say that I'm getting to like poetry now.

Vandya, you said you wanted to try your hand in poetry too... waiting for that... thank you for dropping in. when you see poem as something beyond you then it is precisely that... but as you develop a love for it it's like wine that goes to your head.Read this...

Song: To Celia

"Drink to me only with thine eyes,
And I will pledge with mine:
Or leave a kiss but in the cup,
And I'll not look for wine".

see...how sweet this poem is?

@Viji - "but how do u manage to write so much and also find time to visit blogs, read and comment"

Thanks to my mum, I am pretty good at managing my time. But, let me credit you for managing both housekeeping, work and child care; that's a whole different league. And, I believe only women can handle that much.

Yea, I have been busy. But, I believe that others who manage to visit my blog on a regular basis enjoy and comment on my posts. So, deserve a visit from me, don't you think so?

That's a boosting factor, in my opinion.
